Creative Art with Fondant for Kids
Demonstration of colouring and preparing fondant for making figurines. Students will learn how to use fondant tools and cutters moulds. Step by step instructions of how to make flowers, stars, hearts, and more. They will decorate cookies and cupcakes as well.

Online Program Registration
Online Program Registration
The DPPCA is partnering with the City of Kitchener to offer online registration for neighbourhood programs. And it’s SO easy! Register online at www.kitchener.ca/activekitchener. You will need: To create an account or sign into your account The barcode(s) for the program(s) you wish to register for Visa or MasterCard with valid expiry date Register In-Person You can also register in person at any community centre, City of Kitchener pool or on the 7th floor at City Hall. You will need your ID.

The DPPCA offers a variety of interactive programs to help foster healthy child development by creating a nurturing environment where children can explore, create and grow. Our programs run Monday through Friday in both the morning and afternoon. We have school preparation programs. and music programs, as well as arts and physical activity based programs.

Children’s Programs
It is our mission to provide safe and stimulating programs to fulfill your child’s need for engaging activities. Through activities children grow and foster a sense of confidence, self worth, pride and new skills. We aim at offering high quality programs such as; piano, guitar, soccer, basketball and dance to help foster new skills in our children.
Unfortunately, due to COVID we are not offering these programs at this time. We hope to start again soon.

Youth Programs

Our Youth Drop-In Program runs on most Friday evenings and is free to attend. The Drop-In nights are facilitated and fully supervised by young adults and offer sports, arts and crafts, games and music.

Adult Programs
Adult Programs
Our centre offers a number of activities and opportunities to keep you active, healthy, and involved in the community. The programs include but are not limited to Yoga, Pickleball, Zumba, Hula fitness, cards, and chess. Come and enjoy the fun.
